Multi-Cavity Mold - Multi-Cavity Mold – Enuo Mold

Several plastic parts are produced in one cycle (one time injection molding), which we call it multi-cavity mold.
For example, four identical plastic parts are produced, called a 4-cavity mold. If the mirrored product is produced in a mold, for example, two left and two right products, the mold name is usually a 2+2 cavity mold. For different products produced in the same mold, the technical term is a series of molds. (4 different cavity = 4 cavity series mold)
In multi-cavity molds, the balance of the flow path is the key to ensuring uniform product filling. This is important to avoid excessive holding of the single cavity and to ensure that all plastic parts to be produced have the same quality.
