First of all, the overall level of domestic mold products is not high. In terms of precision, cavity surface roughness, production cycle, life and other indicators, domestic mold products still lag far behind the advanced level of foreign countries. Secondly, there is a lack of well-known brands produced independently. Domestic foundry mold companies are small in scale, low in industrial concentration, unreasonable product structure, weak in independent innovation, and backward in equipment and technology.
Lack of enterprise groups and internationally renowned brands with core competitiveness. Third, the technological equipment and management level are lagging behind. Although some mold companies have undergone technological transformation in recent years and have relatively advanced technology and equipment, most of them are still relatively backward in technology and equipment. These shortcomings have become a stumbling block in the development of the mold industry. Domestic enterprises should be aware of these problems and cannot rely solely on price advantages to compete. It is necessary to increase scientific research investment and strength, improve the integration level of process and tooling design, improve the design and manufacturing level of large, precise, complex, and long-life molds, develop high-speed processing technology, improve surface treatment technology, improve the standardization level of casting molds, and expand standard parts The scope of use.
